He has successfully executed India's first six-lane expressway and is also the first to develop a brown field airport in Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. He has established GVK Foundation, which leads social responsibility initiatives of the company. He is now the guiding force behind GVK EMRI, the country's largest emergency service provider. Mr. Reddy was awarded the third highest civilian award of India - Padma Bhushan in 2011.
